~ Coconut Milk Chocolate Cake With Cream Cheese Frosting...

Assalamualaikum dan Salam Sejahtera...

Bersua kembali.. Hari ini Diana bersiaran bersama kek coklat lagi. Kek ini juga Diana olah dengan gabungan rasa cream cheese dari resipi Devil's Food Chocolate Cake... Memang sedap... Jika ingin mencubanya boleh rujuk resipi di bawah ya... Jom tengok resipinya..

COCONUT MILK CHOCOLATE CAKE with CREAM CHEESE FROSTING
** Diana buat 2 kali ganda resipi di bawah


For the cake
  • 55g dark chocolate ( 70% )
  • 85g quality cocoa powder _ Diana kurangkan sedikit
  • 200 ml boiling water
  • 145 gm plain flour
  • 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 90 gm unsalted butter
  • 230 gm caster sugar
  • 50g dark muscovado sugar / brown sugar _ Diana guna gula perang yang berwarna gelap tu
  • 2 eggs
  • 275 ml coconut milk 

For the ganache
  • 125 ml coconut milk
  • 125 gm dark chocolate ( 70% )
  1. Line a square pan with greaseproof paper. Preheat the oven to 180°C/350°F. 
  2. Chop the chocolate up and place in a small bowl with the cocoa powder. Pour over the boiling water. Whisk until the chocolate has melted and the mixture is smooth. Set aside to cool. 
  3. Sift the flour, bicarbonate, baking power and salt into a bowl. 
  4. Melt the butter in a small saucepan. 
  5. Place the sugars in the bowl of a stand mix and whisk quickly to combine. 
  6. Add the melted butter and whisk until combined. 
  7. Add one egg and whisk to combine. Add the other egg and then whisk for 3 minutes until pale and thick. 
  8. Slowly add the coconut milk and then the chocolate mix, whisking as you go. 
  9. Finally add the content of the flour bowl and whisk to combine. Pour into the prepared pan. 
  10. Place in the oven and cook for 30 - 40 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out from the centre with a few damp crumbs instead of liquid mixture. Sit on a wire rack until cool. 
  11. When you're ready to ice the cake, pour the coconut milk into a small saucepan and place over a medium heat. 
  12. Chop the chocolate into small chunks and place into a small bowl. 
  13. When the coconut milk just comes to a boil take off the heat and pour over the chocolate.
  14. Leave for one minute then whisk until smooth. 
  15. Let cool for 10 minutes before pouring over the cake.

Cream Cheese Frosting  dari resipi  DEVIL'S FOOD CHOCOLATE CAKE...

** Diana buat 2 kali ganda resipi di bawah

Ingredients
  • 250 gm Philadelphia cheese
  • 125 gm butter
  • 1 cup icing sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Juice of a squeezed slice of lemon 
Method
  1. Beat the cheese and butter, just until creamy. 
  2. Add the icing sugar, vanilla and lemon juice.
** Diana masukkan frosting ke dalam piping bag. 


Cara Melapis Kek
  1. Potong kek coklat kepada beberapa kepingan dengan menggunakan pemotong kek.
  2. Kemudian ambil sekeping kek coklat dan letakkan di atas alas. Paipkan adunan cream cheese frosting di atas kek.
  3. Kemudian lapiskan dengan sekeping kek coklat dan tekan sedikit.
  4. Paipkan lagi adunan cream cheese frosting di atasnya dan seterusnya lapis dengan sekping kek coklat lagi.
  5. Ulang proses ini hingga kek coklat dan adunan cream cheese frosting habis.
  6. Setelah itu masukkan kek ke dalam peti sejuk selama 10 minit atau lebih.
  7. Keluarkan kek dari peti sejuk dan tuangkan chocolate ganache di keseluruhan kek.
  8. Masukkan kek ke dalam peti sejuk seketika sebelum di potong.
