Seperti yang Diana telah maklumkan di entri yang lepas, Diana seorang penggemar roti yang dibubuh dengan cinnamon sugar. Memang sejak dulu lagi suka makan sebenarnya. Walau diet macam mana sekali pun, kalau sudah ada roti ni di depan mata.. Pasti akan makan juga.. Hehehee...
Untuk resipi ini, sudah 2 kali Diana membuatnya. Pertama kali tu buat ikut saiz sebenar. Kelmarin buat mini cinnamon rolls pula. lebih senang nak makan.
Resipi Cinnamon Rolls ini Diana ikut dari blog The Comfort of Cooking. Kalau sudah ada ulangan ikut resipi ni, maknanya sedap dan sesuai dengan selera kami sekeluarga la tu. Selera orang lain tidak pasti pula ya. Tapi In Shaa Allah.. Sedap.

EASY SUPER SOFT CINNAMON ROLLS
Makes 12 to 15 cinnamon rolls
INGREDIENTS
For the Dough
- 1/4 ounce package yeast ( 2 1/4 teaspoons )
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 1/2 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 large egg
- 3 to 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour ( Diana bubuh 2 cawan all-purpose flour + 1 1/2 cawan bread flour )
For the Filling
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 Tablespoons ground cinnamon
For the Glaze ( Diana tidak buat )
- 3 Tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 Tablespoons milk
DIRECTIONS
For the Dough
- In a small bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water and set aside.
- In a large bowl or the bowl of your stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, mix milk, sugar, melted butter, salt and egg. Add 2 cups of flour and mix until smooth. Pour in yeast mixture. Mix in remaining flour, 1/4 cup at a time, until dough is easy to handle. If mixture appears too dry, add 1 tsp. water at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Knead dough in your mixer with the dough hook, or by hand on lightly floured surface, for 5 to 10 minutes. Place in a well-greased bowl, cover and let rise until doubled in size, usually 1 to 1 1/2 hours.*
- Once doubled in size, punch down dough. Roll out on a floured surface into a 15 by 9-inch rectangle.
For the Filling and Baking
- Combine melted butter, cinnamon and sugar, spreading all over dough. Beginning at the longest (15 inch) side, roll up dough and pinch edges together to seal. Cut into 12 to 15 slices.
- Coat a baking pan with nonstick cooking spray and sprinkle with sugar. Place cinnamon roll slices close together in the pan and let rise until dough is doubled, about 45 minutes.
- When ready to bake, preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
For the Glaze
- Mix butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla. Whisk in milk 1 tablespoon at a time until the glaze reaches desired consistency. (If you like a thinner consistency glaze, add more milk.) Spread over slightly cooled rolls.
- Enjoy!
:: TIPS ~
When rising dough, I place an ovenproof bowl (covered with a dry dish towel) in an oven preheated to 200 degrees, then turn off heat before adding the bowl. If it seems overly hot, I will prop the oven door as the bowl sits in the oven.
To save time, I make my cinnamon-sugar filling and glaze while the dough/rolls are rising.
** Kaedah Diana guna BM:
- Masukkan bahan cecair dulu dan diikuti dengan bahan-bahan kering.
- On kan BM dan biarkan ia menguli seperti biasa.

** Diana gantikan glaze di atas dengan cream cheese frosting. Resipinya seperti di bawah :
Cream Cheese Frosting
Ingredients
- 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
- 8 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into pieces, room temperature
- 1 cup confectioners' sugar _ ( untuk dimakan dengan cinnamon rolls, Diana kurangkan sedikit sukatan gulanya )
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract _ ( Diana bubuh 1/2 tsp sahaja )
- Directions
- Place cream cheese in a medium mixing bowl. Using a rubber spatula, soften cream cheese.
- Gradually add butter and continue beating until smooth and well blended.
- Sift in confectioners' sugar and continue beating until smooth.
- Add vanilla and stir to combine.
** Untuk filling nya pula Diana buat ikut resipi di atas dan Diana taburkan juga cinnamon sugar resipi dari ENTRI INI ( Resipi oleh Joy The Baker ). Diana buat 1/2 resipi di bawah.
- 1 cawan gula kasar dan gula perang
- 2 sudu kecil serbuk kayu manis
